Excrypted Art
As artists, we translate perception and emotion into physical form by externalizing inner narratives shaped by lived experience. Because that translation is deeply personal, artworks are often interpreted in vastly different ways. Over the past 150 years, the art world has largely embraced this open-endedness, inviting viewers to construct their own meanings.
My work follows a different trajectory. Rather than leaving interpretation entirely open, I invite the viewer into a more direct, embodied dialogue. I want them to feel what I felt during the moment of creation, throughout the process, and within the emotional terrain it stirred. From this shared ground, viewers are then free to layer their own interpretations, deepening their connection to the work.
Our experience of the world is shaped through the five primary senses: taste, smell, touch, hearing, and sight. My multisensory practice, what I term excrypted art, guides participants to align these senses along an intentional pathway. By activating multiple sensory channels simultaneously, the work engages broader areas of the brain, creating a richer, more immersive experience.
Below are examples of foundational excryption platforms; experiential launchpads designed to expand sensory, emotional, and cognitive engagement with the artwork.

Multi-sensorial meditative art
My multi-sensory meditative artworks are designed to create an immersive, contemplative experience that deepens the viewer’s emotional and sensory connection to the work. Combining visual art with sound and touch, the experience creates a more accessible and expansive meditative space for each participant.
Each piece or grouping is accompanied by a background of meditative music, often Native American flute compositions, that sets a calming tone and invites introspection. To further engage the senses, I include a specific meditative instrument with each work, inviting the viewer to interact sonically and become part of the atmosphere. Sculptural elements are also incorporated, offering tactile engagement that encourages a complete, present-moment experience.
Through this layered sensory approach, I hope to guide participants beyond passive viewing and into an active, grounded presence where the boundaries between art, meditation, and personal reflection begin to dissolve.
